Why is VHI a new idea in homeschooling?

We want homeschooling to be accessible to families unwilling or unable to pay the high price of other virtual homeschool programs. We provide all the books and materials you need to educate your family (except for your computer, printer, and internet connection). Books are provided either in PDF, document, or in html format. There are no extra or hidden costs. There are no extra "enrollment" fees above your yearly enrollment fee, and there are no shipping costs. You are done paying fees with your $15.00 yearly family enrollment fee. This fee is paid once a year... not once a month, not once per child, but once a year for the whole family. Once you enroll, you and your family have access to the entire school (all grades and all subjects) for 12 Mos.

How can VHI offer this comprehensive curricula at such a low price?

• VHI uses a classical curriculum with elements of Charlotte Mason, eclectic, and Standard curriculum methods.
• Unlike larger online homeschools, we create our own curriculum rather than leasing it from an outside corporation.
• VHI utilizes many antique books and curricula for their excellence and their educational quality.
• VHI is not a large corporation, but the out growth of an actual homeschooling family's solution to homeschool curriculum high prices.
• VHI is administered by a homeschooling mom and dad with PhD's in education, we don't have a large staff to support with your enrollment fees.

Why do we offer VHI services so cheaply?

• We want to share affordable access to quality homeschool resources with other homeschooling families.
• We are not trying to get rich or support our family with the enrollment fees from VHI, however, we do use the fees to pay for our server space.
• As a large homeschooling family with nine children, we understand the the many demands on your homeschool dollar.
